Christ Lutheran Church

We are in a new year!

We are worshiping together in this season of Lent.

The church is the body of Christ, functioning in this world as His hands and voice. This is true when we are together, be that in worship, or in service to one another; or even when we are standing alone against the world. But we will always need to stay in God’s Word both as we read and study on our own and as we come together to hear His wisdom and comfort pour out on us.

Coming together is a critical element of who we are as Christians. It is also critical that we respect each other and do everything within our power to protect and care for those around us. In some ways this has been a balancing act. That is likely to continue. We will do the best we can to maintain our balance—to worship God and to serve our community—as the day of our salvation grows closer.
